Elle Macpherson
Born on March 29th 1965 in Sydney, Australia, Eleanor Gow first wanted to become a criminal lawyer. On her vacation to Aspen Colorado, all that aspiration changed when she was discovered by a modelling agent and went on to become one of the models for Click Modelling Agency. As a career move, she subsequently changed her name to Elle McPherson and for six successful years, became a permanent face on the covers of the magazine, Elle.
Elle’s beauty exemplifies the girl-next-door type and her beautifully toned body enabled her to land on Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit covers. She was known as “The Body”.

In 1995, People Magazine included her in their list of “50 Most Beautiful People”.
She also has a line of top-selling workout videos.
Long after, she shifted careers and dabbled in acting. Elle has appeared on several blockbuster movies and TV shows in America. Expectedly, her venture into showbiz is with success, as whatever Elle takes focus on is met with serious professionalism.
Elle was critically acclaimed for her role in the movie Siren, and has appeared in Jane Eyre, The Mirror Has Two Faces and Batman and Robin. She is currently filming with director David Mamet, acting alongside screen giants like Anthony Hopkins and Aleck Baldwin.
Elle resides in New York and has a son, Arpad, by Swiss financier Arkie Busson. On top of her solid modelling career and an improving Hollywood career, Elle manages Fashion Café in New York, along with fellow supermodels Naomi Campbell and Claudia Shiffer.
